Education
We enjoy a steady construction workflow within the Education Sector as both a principal and specialist contractor. We have worked throughout the North, operating in the Lancashire, Yorkshire, Cumbria and North East areas. We have carried out small to medium sized contracts as principal contractor, and larger contracts within our specialist areas. In particularly, over the last few years we have been involved in the Cumbria and Tameside schools with Kier and Carillion respectively.
Health
We have carried out many and varied construction contracts within this sector, both as a principle and specialist contractor. As a principal contractor we have carried out medical centres and primary health care units and within the specialist business we have carried out significant contracts, with the re-building of the Manchester Royal Infirmary, the construction of the new Oncology Unit at St James’s Hospital in Leeds, and new build hospitals at Whiston and St Helen’s. We have also carried out work at Calderdale Hospital and Hexham in the North East, along with work in the West Midlands with the construction of Stafford District General Hospital.
Residential
With the residential property boom in the early part of the millennium we carried out significant residential construction contracts. Again, operating as a principal and specialist contractor in this sector, working closely with large developers within the Northern region.

Offices
We have completed some prestigious projects as a specialist construction contractor within the North West and North East regions. These include the construction of No. 1 Piccadilly, a number of office developments on the Spinningfields site with Allied London, including the new North West headquarters for The Royal Bank of Scotland, as well as constructing the new offices for the Northern Rock in the Newcastle area.
Hotels and Leisure
We have been involved with a number of significant construction projects in the Hotel and Leisure sector. We constructed The Lowry Hotel, which was the first 5 star hotel in the Manchester conurbation for Jarvis. As principal contractor we have been involved with the refurbishment of the Concert Hall in Leeds, which is a Grade I listed building. We constructed The City of Manchester Stadium as specialist contractor, as well as being involved with the new Music Centre at Gateshead.
Retail
We have been involved with many retail developments, including mixed use developments such as The Great Northern Experience at Deansgate in Manchester, Paradise Street (Liverpool One), Liverpool. and The Rock at Bury.
