Heyrod Construction Limited was founded in February 1978 by the present Chairman Mr Frank Gillespie, originally with a view to providing a specialist formwork /steel fixing service in the field of structural reinforced concrete. The company soon won significant subcontract orders in bridgeworks, highway structures, and water authority work in the form of sewage treatment works, box reservoirs and pumping stations.
Over the years we have diversified in both civils and building construction and have developed sufficiently to provide a one-stop service in our specialist activities - providing a seamless construction from sub-structures through to super-structures.
We are able to provide a professional and technical management team from concept through to completion, supplemented with extensive support, which includes:- Temporary Works Design, Graphic Design, Programming & Planning Engineers, Health, Safety & Environmental Advisors, Estimating Departments, also a fully equipped Plant Department, Workshops and a Fabrication Yard.

Acting as a Principal Contractor we have undertaken a wide spectrum of works including new build and the refurbishment of listed buildings - executing either on a traditional or design and build basis. With our in-house skills we are able to carry out intricate and complex works where a high degree of technical expertise is required, undertaking work for both the Public and Private sector and partnering with many of the major contractors.
